Colours
This season is colour-infused! Look out for orange - it's a great hit. When orange is popular, reds and yellow always come to the front as well. Reds are bold and confident, yellow is everywhere, from pale and buttery to bright and lemony. For pastels, its scrumptious cotton-candy colours in pinks, purples, aquamarine, mint. Electric blue is making a vivid splash, often in combination with reds, yellow, and fushia.

In the mood for flirty and feminine? Designers this season are featuring floppy style hats reminiscent of the 70's: big, flowing, and unstructured. Donna Karan's spring show completed every outfit with these hats, in bright oranges, reds, dramatic blacks, and vintage inspired prints. |

Always popular, expect this season to see more of a "man's styling," the sharp masculine lines emphasizing the femininity of the woman wearing it. Don it with trench coats, denim, spring jackets, cardigans, etc. Sporting lots of spring's fun,bright colours but the classic look of black and white is holding strong. |

The 1920's flapper style cloche ruled the New York runways of designers Ralph Lauren, Sonia Rykiel, and Christian Dior, proving that they are as trendy today as they were almost a century ago.
